2) Responsive team

There is no one else answering phone calls and emails for us. We’ll be the ones photographing your special day and taking care of all correspondence! We aim to respond to all messages within 24 hours.

About Your Photographer

Hey there! My name is Arif Shahrum and I am the co-founder and lead photographer for Two Fates Weddings. I will be the person you’ll be in direct contact with throughout your journey.

Two Fates was created in 2020 when Melbourne was in a long lockdown. I was looking through old photos and the memories of those times came rushing back to me. I loved the - oh yeah, we did that! - feeling. So in search of a deeper purpose I decided to create Two Fates with my partner Lynli. I wanted to help create this feeling for couples decades on flipping through their wedding album, to call back the small details and fleeting moments that would otherwise be forgotten.

In my free time, I enjoy reading non-fiction (before you judge me I do read some fiction and admit I recently shed a tear reading Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro). I love making (and drinking) coffee, exercising, and exploring new places around Melbourne. Most of all I love meeting people and collaborating.
